This recipe was top on my list of favorites growing up. Each time I make it, it brings back the memories of home, family, and good times.

The recipe I have listed below is the base recipe, over the years I have added my own spices to give it my own personalized taste. I add garlic salt, Herbamare or Cavender’s seasonings

Gramma Hickox’s Woodville Hotdish

  • 1 box ring pasta
  • 1 lb Hamburger
  • 1/3 onion
  • 1/3 green pepper
  • 1 can chicken noodle soup
  • 1 can Cream Corn
  • 1 can chunk chicken
  • Wonton Noodles

Boil pasta (about 3 minutes or until al dente). While this is happening, go ahead and caramelize the green pepper and onion in a separate fry pan. Add the hamburger. Cook until hamburger is brown and mix in chicken noodle soup, corn, and chunk chicken. Add seasonings to taste.

Drain noodles and add to the hamburger mix. Stir. Top with Wonton noodles.
